Adrian Moore, Chairman of the Isle of Man Aerospace Cluster (IOMAC) and Business Development Manager at the Department of Economic Development, has received a Manufacturer Top 100 award. The Manufacturer also publishes details of award winners within their annual Top 100 publication.

In his nomination, Adrian was described as ‘an inspiring leader, a driver of cultural change and an unsung hero’ within the sector.

Laurence Skelly MHK, Minister for the Department of Economic Development commented:

‘Adrian’s position in the Top 100 recognises the astounding amount of work going on to support the Isle of Man’s successful manufacturing sector. Over the past year Adrian has supported business relocations to the Island, new infrastructure developments and continued to act as Chairman of the Isle of Man Aerospace Cluster. Adrian’s more public projects include brownfield site development at Ronaldsway and delivery of the Advanced Manufacturing and Training Centre. It is fantastic his efforts are being recognised across the British Isles and I am pleased to offer my congratulations.’

Adrian Moore commented:

‘It is a great honour to receive this award. Manufacturing and engineering are a vital part of the Manx economy. During my time with the Department I have been privileged to work with some fantastic companies investing their time and resources in the Island. The breadth of our manufacturing sector is superb, as are the range of products produced, and I look forward to continuing to support my colleagues in the industry.’
